For the specialty
The specialty "Mechanical Engineering" provides the trainees with complex basic and specialized training, which corresponds to the requirements of the Higher Education Act. The admission of students is done according to the Rules for admission of TU - Sofia.
Why should I choose this specialty?
The training in the specialty "Mechanical Engineering" is based on compulsory and elective subjects. Compulsory are: fundamental / mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, engineering graphics /; humanities/economics, management and marketing / and general engineering/material science, mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, automatic regulation and control, machine elements and mechanisms, safety equipment and ecological protection /.

Possibilities for student mobility
During the training, student mobility is provided in accordance with the ERASMUS UNIVERSITY CHARTER (EUC), which provides the general framework for the realization of European cooperation in higher education.
Graduates are awarded the Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a professional qualification "Machine Engineer".
Graduates with a Bachelor degree can, if they wish, continue their education until they obtain the higher Master's degree.
The professional realization of graduates can take place in all branches of economics, science, state and European administration requiring higher education in the specialty.
Learning and skills acquired in the learning process allow for career development related to the design, implementation, and operation of a variety of devices, machines, and complexes.
